How to Read the Archive

Begin with the Stories section. After reading a story, follow its linked records to examine the people involved, the evidence collected, the objects placed into custody, and the questions that remain unresolved.

The records expand the stories without providing a final authoritative explanation. Testimony may conflict. Evidence may remain incomplete. Ordinary explanations and paranormal interpretations can exist beside one another.

Fiction and Reported Material

The Dead Air Archive is a work of fiction.

Some stories are based on reported paranormal-investigation accounts. Events, characters, locations, and identifying details may be fictionalized. Raw source materials, private identities, restricted participant information, and internal development records are not included in the public archive.

The Archive’s Approach

The project draws on incident reports, evidence logs, institutional records, oral testimony, and documentary-horror traditions. Its visual design evokes basement archives, aging files, and oxidized identification plates while keeping the text quiet and legible.
